I suppose I have always been an artist. From an early age I have loved to draw, paint, cut,
glue and assemble. My first taste of fame in the art world came when I won an award for a poster I created about the Canadian Centennial (sadly, long misplaced). At that time I was sure I was going to become either an artist or an architect when I grew up. While I got seriously sidetracked along the way by many different events and issues, I never really lost sight of that goal. I continued to create, no matter what the circumstances of my life. Often, my medium was dictated by the space and time available to me. Mixed media combines all the different techniques I've tried and remains my favourite medium.
